Block OML-277 is located in the IMO state of South Nigeria and covers an area of about 29 sq. Km.
The scope is to assist in the location of favorable drilling.
The seismic data available indicates presence of rollover closures, fault closures and basement highs.
Five potential prospects are identified. Most of these prospects correspond well to the seismic prospects identified earlier.
Hydrocarbon accumulation regimes match remarkably well with the tectonic elements of the area.
A transition zone between the potential prospects and the lower potential area has been identified.
